PATRIOTIC PALOOZA!
The energy was electric! We can all feel the red wave sweeping across our land and this is an exciting time for our club.
As our President, Paige Freeman, says, “This is the “Leading-the-charge Club,” and last night certainly proved that.
We voted on smart, targeted social media marketing campaigns that will promote our candidates and events. We heard from a representative from the Susan B. Anthony Pro Life organization Cayla Collins , the new GOP Field Director, Joel Bailey and Matt Rhodes who is running for New Hanover County Sheriff. Proceeds from the event went to Matt.
JUNE MEETING
In June we had a wonderful event on the Henrietta Riverboat. A sold-out event, over 100 attendees enjoyed perfect weather for a sunset cruise on the Cape Fear River.
Much thanks for the generous donation from Charlie Miller for delicious refreshments and Cape Fear Distillery for providing guests with a taste of their award-winning spirits.
Midterm candidates Josie Barnhart, John Hinnant, Melissa Mason, LeAnn Pierce and Tom Toby as well as Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life representatives joined the fun!

MAY MEETING
Off to the Races! May’s Meeting had a fun Kentucky Derby theme – fancy hats, a dozen beautiful roses for the best hat, and delicious refreshments!
Jonathan Uzgatgui, Vice Chair for the Hispanic Coalition, was our guest speaker. He shared stories of his native Venezuela and the warning signs of socialism he sees happening in America today.
We had 17 candidates (and candidate representatives) attend the meet and greet. We appreciate all the candidates that attended to share their message and meet our members.
We announced our support of the Fredrick Douglas Foundation of NC and look forward to working with Harry Anderson to help grow a New Hanover County chapter.
We also presented a donation to Little Pink House of Hope for $2,000.
